Watercolor or Bust!
Our annual trip to Watercolor with the Grinnals, Pickert & Spolar families was so...much...fun!!! We caravanned out of Celebration and the 7 hour drive went by in a flash!!! The house was spectacular and weather was perfect! The kids boogie boarded with a few sharks, jellyfish and some seaweed, but all had fun and we only had one jellyfish sting--Gracie is so brave!!!
4th of July Parade!
Summer Fun!
The girls and I headed up to Ann Arbor, Michigan to visit Aunt Joan and Ken for an action-packed weekend! Highlights included a trip to the Farmer's Market, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, an interesting acrobatic performance (just this side of Cirque du Soleil) on the lawn of the beautiful University of Michigan campus, swimming & trampolining at Ken's club (Katie encouraged and convinced Caroline to jump off the high dive several times), exploring their amazing backyard (with little butterflies dancing around them ) and helping Aunt Joan pick the perfect location for her new tree, a matinee of "The Muppets Take Manhattan" in the historic and gorgeous Michigan Theatre, a VIP tour of the Ford campus (WOW!--can't wait for our "next new car..The Flex), and then wrapped it all up with a day at the Henry Ford Museum...whew!!! I'm exhausted just thinking about it!!! Sadly, my memory card went wacko, but thankfully Ken got these cute pics! Thanks for a great weekend, Joan & Ken!!!

VBS
Cue Johnny Mathis: "it's the most wonderful time of the year..."
Oh no, I'm not talking about Christmas trees and silver bells, I'm talking about Vacation Bible School!!! Every year we jam to the CD for weeks leading up and this morning we broke out the yellow t-shirts for a week full of fun, friendships and giving thanks!! VBS kicked off today at the Community Presbyterian Church in downtown Celebration and needless to say Day 1 of Power Lab was "totally awesome!!"

Big news!!!
Caroline has officially lost her first tooth!! With lots of supportive cheers and chants from Katie, Sydney, Josie & Griffin, Caroline placed her trust in the nurse we all love and trust dearly, Amy Lowell, to twist and turn that wiggly tooth right on out of her mouth!! She FINALLY got to put a tooth in the fairy godmother pillow and woke up to FIVE DOLLARS!!!! Whew!!! And it just gets better...after her very successful dental cleaning on Friday, the hygienist told her to look forward to THREE more wigglies on their way out as well!!!
Note to Amy::please keep your cell phone handy...
